About this study

Christianity Explored

What’s the best news you’ve ever heard? Christianity Explored is an eight session resource to help all of us (re)discover Jesus from Scripture in a relational environment. We will immerse ourselves in the gospel of Mark over these eight weeks, and understand afresh Jesus’ identity, mission, and call on our lives. In recognition of the impact that Christianity Explored has had on so many, theologian Sinclair Ferguson said that, “I wish every church would use Christianity Explored at least once a year.” In the course of these eight sessions a few things will happen: unbelievers will hear from Scripture, believers will learn to share from Scripture, and we will all fall in love with the gospel again.

Dates: Sundays, Sept 10 – Oct 29

Location: 3rd Floor

Theology of Our Bodies

You are embodied for a purpose, and your body tells God’s story. In six weeks, we’ll examine God’s grand vision for our bodies, sex and relationships. We’ll look at how things went wrong, and what Jesus is doing to redeem our brokenness. We’ll see how our bodies point to and yearn for our coming eternal destiny: being joined with God forever.

Dates: Sundays, Sept 10 – Oct 15

Location: 3rd Floor

Intro to Freedom Prayer: Drawing Closer to God

Paul wrote in Galatians 5, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” Every disciple is invited to walk in this freedom, and then go share it with others. Yet many of us struggle to experience freedom of heart and soul in our daily lives. In this Introduction to Freedom Prayer Class, we will identify the emotional & spiritual blocks to our freedom in Christ as well as the simple, biblical prayer tools that help restore this freedom. The goal: drawing closer to God in ever-deepening communion.

Dates: Sundays, Sept 10 – Oct 15

Location: 3rd Floor
