Community Groups

Community Groups at West End help people grow in gospel depth and breadth by providing them with the intentional coed fellowship of other believers invested in their lives.

About this ministry

Community groups are opportunities for people to get to know members of the church in a smaller setting. These coed groups of anywhere from 12-20 people “do life” together. By joining a community group, you get to know people at a deeper level as you investigate spiritual topics.

Joining a community group is a wonderful way to plug in, get to know others and grow together in faith.

Ministry Questions

A community group is for those that have chosen West End as their church home and are ready to invest, or are already investing, in the community. This can be both regular attenders and members.

Community groups provide individuals the opportunity to connect, build community, study God’s word, and care for one another.

Groups typically meet on Sunday evenings, twice a month. This may vary by group.

Community groups are designed to build connections over time. These are the people you will “do life with”; unlike a semester-long bible study, for example. Typically, groups sustain for three years or more.

Our staff trains leaders, who are members of West End, to find people in their path and to welcome those who are interested in a group. So, you could either be asked to join, or you can reach out to Libby and we’ll help you find a place!
