“Sopo: A Sort of Christmas Story” chronicles war photographer Philip Holsinger’s spiritual pilgrimage with the shepherds of Tusheti. Traveling through the Caucasus Mountains with one of the world’s oldest nomadic groups, their herds of sheep, and packs of wolf-like guard dogs, the photographer provides an honest view into an adventurer’s struggle to understand and accept his faith.
In collaboration with West End, Holsinger offers an immersive presentation, live discussion, and an exhibition featuring photos and writing compiled over four expeditions.
Join the photojournalist and friends Dec 5 to experience his story, photos, and writings.
The exhibition opens at 6:30 p.m.; presentation at 7:30 p.m.
